Q.3: Describe the forms of communication in business.

Ans: There are three forms of communication in business:

1. Internal operational communication: All the communication that occurs in conductive work within a business is classified as internal operational communication.

In other words, the flow of information between the members of business is known as internal operational communication. Participants of internal operational communication are workers, managers, trade union, board of directors etc. This communication is done to perform the functions of a business. Internal operational communication takes many forms, such as orders, instructions, reports, email message etc.

2. External operational communication: Communication that occurred with the people outside the business is known as external operational communication.

External operational communication takes place when the business exchanges information with customers, suppliers, service companies, investors, government local community and general public.

It also happen radio and television messages, newspapers and magazine advertising, website advertising. It improves public relations.

3. Personal communication: Personal communication is the exchange of information and feelings in which human being exchange whenever they come together.

Personal communication affects employee attitudes and attitudes affect employee performance.


 Factors that influence in business communication:

o Degree of emotion

Q.4: Describe the process of human communication?

Ans: The process of human communication is known as intra communication. The following review describes how human communication can do.

Process of human communication:

1. This area represents our communication environment. It is all the sign that exists in the real world surrounding us.

2. Our sensory receptors picked up some of the sign and symbols. By sensory receptors means sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch etc.

3. Those sign that are picked up go through our nervous system and into our mental filter.

4. Our mental filters give the signs meaning. The meanings received add to the filters content.

5. Sometimes the meanings we formed triggered communicate response.

6. We formed these responses through our mental filters.

7. We send our responses as word symbols and nonverbal symbols.

8. This symbols become part of others communication environment. Here they may be picked up by others sensory receptors and another cycle begins.

These are the major steps used in the intra communication or human communication process.

DEFINATION AND OTHER ABOUT BUSINESS COMMUNICATION

Ans: Business communication: Communication is the exchange of information, ideas, and views, feelings between two or more person.
Business communication is the process of exchanging the information relating to business with a view to a attain organizations goals or objectives.
Importance of business communication:

Exchange of information: In the business sector exchanging information is very important to improve the goodwill in the market about the product, improve the quality of the product and make well profit. For this reason a business executive needs to exchange information internally and externally.

Formulate suitable plan: For improving the quality of product, maintain and developed the business, make well profit and increase good reputation of the business, suitable plan, formulation is very important. So business communication is important to formulate suitable plan.

Formulate organization policy: To formulae organization policy business communication is very important.

Attain organizational efficiency: To attain organizational efficiency business communication is important. Without efficiency quality of product does not become high.

Take right decision: For taking right decision at rig ht time in the right place business communication is very significant.

Improve industrial relation: Communication is important to improve industrial relation among business executives, subordinates and employers.

Motivate applies: To motivate applies on the employee’s communication plays a vital role.

Enhance employee’s loyalty: Communication is necessary to enhance employee’s loyalty. Without employee‘s loyalty business can not be profitable.

Established suitable leadership: Leadership is needed to maintain the business successfully. And for this communication is very important.

Maintain international relation: For a successful business executive international relationship very important.



Q.2: Describe communication process.
Ans: Communication process: Communication process refers to the steps through communication takes place between sender and receiver.
The steps involving communication process include the following:


Conceptualizing the idea: In the first step the communication must develop an idea that he wants to communicate.

Encoding: Encoding means converting the idea into a message in the form of words or symbols that the receiver can understand. The step of encoding also involves selecting the medium – speaking, writing, gesturing etc – to communicate the message.

Transmitting of message: Ones the message is encoded and the medium of transmission is selected, the sender sends the message through the chosen medium in third step.

Receiving the message: This step simply involves the receptions of the message by the receiver in the form of hearing, seeing, feeling, sensing etc.

Decoding: Decoding is the receiver’s interpretation of the message. Here the receiver converse the message into thoughts and tries to understand it. Accurate communication can occur only when both the sender and receiver attach the saying meaning to the message.

Feedback: The final step in communication process is feedback. Feedback means the reaction or response of the receiver to the sender’s message. Feedback ensures the effectiveness of communication. Without feedback communication cannot be successful.
